The Designers
Denise Barr, a graphic artist and fashion designer, and Summerly Smith, a busy work-at-home mom, have brought together each of their unique perspectives to design and create the perfect traveling hand bag.
“About 15 years ago, I lived in the Bay Area, and commuted on BART, to my job in San Francicso. I noticed that a lot of women, including myself, wore tennis shoes to get to and from the train stations. Many also carried their lunches, brief cases or tote bags, and purses. I really wanted a lady’s travel bag that could be multifunctional and still look great. Things haven’t changed much, except that now more and more women have careers and lives that include a lot of mobility by air, mass transit, and even bicycles. And with all the electronics we carry, its even more important to be well organized and less encumbered.
We decided to launch our company with a bag that we believe many women will enjoy using as much as we do. And we have done our best to make sure ItBag® meets
